18ct White Gold
SHAMAN’S TRIANGLE SIGNET RING WHITE
This solid white gold ring is a strong, powerful statement of design. From Series 1 of the collection The Man Who Knows Everything, inspired by the infamous Comte St Germain Hannah turned to masonic symbolry and the mysteries of alchemy to draw from in these designs.
The triangle, an ancient symbol of esoteric power, has been finely mutated into an iconic piece of sculpture, skewed by the power of The Man Who.
This signet ring is designed to be equally gratifying when sitting on a mantelpiece, as it is when sitting on a finger.

I first read about the infamous Comte de St Germain many years ago, and had been waiting for the right time to include him in my work. ‘The Shaman’s Triangle’ series (part of the larger collection ‘The Man Who Knows Everything) was that moment. This ring is a vital piece within this story.
The Comte was a man of unknown origins and unknown end. His death was reported countless times, yet always he would reappear, in another place and another time. He was impeccably dressed, understated apart from the vivid jewels that he wore on his hands, in his shoe buckles and carried with him in his travelling case. Voltaire described him as ‘the man who knows everything and never dies’. The lover of princesses and muse to the likes of Pushkin and Voltaire, I was hooked. I wanted to design a collection that honoured him, and that questioned where and what this futurist shaman would be at the end of another century.
My research was very much centred on alchemy, paganism and the occult. I have always been fascinated with Masonic symbolry and legend - the idea of a fraternity, a brotherhood, known only to a few. I also immersed myself in the writings of Aleister Crowley, the films of Kenneth Anger, the work of Derek Jarman and the Russian Constructivists. Luc Besson’s ‘Fifth Element’ featured fairly heavily, as did Mikhail Bulgakov’s incredible novel ‘The Master & Margerita’. The triangle is a recurrent theme in much of this reference material – it is a shape with strong esoteric connotations - mystical, powerful and symbolic.
I have another strong belief – that jewellery should look just as beautiful off the body as it does on. I see jewellery as miniature pieces of sculpture, and I designed this ring specifically to reflect that belief. Quite literally this ring is a 3-dimensional pyramid – made from a geometrically perfect shape, whose lines have been elegantly skewed by the power of The Man Who (or so I like to imagine). Off the hand it becomes a fascinating object on your mantelpiece, on the hand it takes on a completely new dimension.
This, a slightly smaller version of the Shaman’s Triangle, sits perfectly on a little finger. A signet ring as you have never seen before – a symbol of something that only you can tell.
