Following a 1st Class honours degree from London’s renowned Central St Martins, and a stint in Paris at one of the world’s most renowned names in fine jewellery, Hannah returned to London and founded her own brand in 2006.
The brain-child behind the compelling creative vision of the brand, Hannah initially set out to create ‘jewellery for men, that girlfriends could steal’; a concept driven by her fascination with masculinity, gender-fluidity and her own androgynous style. Consequently, Hannah Martin London became the first fine jewellery house to create jewels that went ‘beyond gender’.
A story-teller who has never been afraid to push boundaries, Hannah consistently builds upon her authentic aesthetic language creating an exciting body of work with a very definitive point of view.
Heavily inspired by music, an avid consumer of culture and with an incurable obsession with the darker side of what makes us human, Hannah has built a world to dream in – intelligent, sensual, sculptural and decidedly rock n’ roll.
Alongside her own brand, Hannah continues to work with some of the most renowned names in fashion and fine jewellery internationally, as well as collaborating with a diverse array of partners from musicians and artists to alcohol brands and royal families. She is a long-standing visiting lecturer at her beloved Central St Martins.
