18ct White Gold
TWISTED KNIFE EDGE STUD RING
The knife-edge, a subtle detail that has become synonymous with Hannah’s unique design language, flows around this sculptural solid gold ring.
A play on the concept of the familiar stud shape, she has twisted this around the finger to create a sensuous, curvaceous form.
Bold and expressive, this is a ring for those who choose to wear their jewellery with integrity and power.

‘The Only Performance’ is a collection designed as an homage to London, and all its deepest, darkest places. The narrative grew out of my responses to the film ‘Performance’* – a collection that explores balances of power, the boundaries of gender and a hidden London, inhabited by mobsters and fallen rock stars.
My research led me from characters such as Mick Jagger and the Kray Twins through the work of artists such as George Bellows and Robert Mapplethorpe to the writings of the Marquis De Sade, amongst others.
The collection I felt needed hard, sharp graphic lines. I wanted the pieces to have a strong, architectural sense with clean, powerful form, but without losing a sense of sculpture.
The Twisted Knife Edge Stud ring was born from this melting pot of inspirations and feeling. Starting with what was essentially a triangular ‘stud’ (a shape that plays an important role throughout the collection) – I played with what happened if this stud was extruded, and wrapped around the finger. The lines still retain their sharp clarity but the form becomes sensual.
