18ct Yellow Gold
RAW FACET SIGNET RING YELLOW
The inspiration for the collection Vincent was drawn from an obsession with dangerously stylish gentleman. Hannah looked to traditional forms of jewellery to reinvent them in her own style – this gold signet ring does just that.
The strength seen in the lines of the faceted detail makes this ring a powerful design statement, a perfect detail to finish off the most stylish of looks.
A true modern twist on a classic, with a dangerously elegant edge.

‘Vincent’ is a collection that tells the story of a dark and dangerous character, ruling London’s underworld with an iron fist. Vincent is the perfect gentleman gangster - suave, sophisticated and deadly. Impeccably dressed – you would perhaps see just the tails of his perfectly tailored coat disappearing down a dark alleyway, or a flash of his gold ring as he stalks out of an underground gambling den.
The signet ring is a very important part of the ‘Vincent’ collection, and appears in a number of guises throughout.
Because my narrative was so heavily influenced by this gentleman gangster character of Vincent, I spent a lot of time researching very classic gentlemen’s accessories – from vintage lighters, through old watches and their chains to signet rings. The signet ring has significance not just in its tradition but as its use as a sign, a symbol, to tell somebody who you are and where you came from, and perhaps the deeds you may have done along the way.
The faceted motif appears repeatedly throughout this collection. The graphic lines and architectural sculpture were drawn from my explorations of Russian monumentalist architecture, 50’s Soviet propaganda graphics and post-modern Russian artists such as Malevich, amongst others.
I loved the idea of taking this classic ring and giving it a twist, both in it’s meaning and in it’s physical form. Creating a new blueprint of this traditional piece to be worn by women, and men, with a certain strength and power.
